These were the last images of Larry Burrows taken on February 10, 1971. The second image shows Keizaburo Shimamoto seated on the far left of the picture with his head turned and Kent Potter, staff photographer for UPI standing outside on the right, as they prep for Operation Lam Son 719,
conducted in the southeastern portion of the Kingdom of Laos.
These images were photographed by Henri Huet. Within the next few hours all four photographers were killed as their Huey was shot down over Laos.
